Some Wonderful Places In Taiwan

Today I want to share my recent trip to Taiwan with several places I have visited. Long story short, come join me to see if you have once been to those places too.
Firstly, I want to tell you I won the lucky draw once arriving atthe Taiwan Taoyuan Airport. The prize was five thousand Taiwan Dollars. What a luck!
Taipei 101 – an architecture filled with wonders; a skyscraper makes Taipei more than a city. We were on the 88th floor in a minute to have a stunning view of Taipei and lightheartedly enjoyed the delicious cakes and coffee served there.
In memory of Chiang Kai-shek, former President of Taiwan, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is located in Taipei. Surrounded by an ultra-beautiful park where every minute you will find not a few people walking, jogging, breathing freedom, you will find the Hall especially sacred. The soldier marching performance is a must-watch show with all visitors solemnly beholding it. We counted ourselves lucky enough to have watched the marching that day on time.
Shifen Old Street – a welcoming tourist attraction in Taiwan – many foreign tourists flock there to step on the Pingxi Railway Line to write their wishes on sky lanterns and release them to the sky from the train tracks. I did one for the first time in my life, the feeling was amazing and I hope what I wrote comes true, haha!
The Shifen Waterfall is Taiwan’s widest falls with the falls arrogantly spreading over 20 meters and falling unbrokenly. You can have some close-up falls with the walking bridge there. I had my feet stepped on that bridge and I could not but feel fantastic to have such a roar sight and sound ofthese falls once in my life.
The National Palace Museum – mighty hosting a giant collection of Chinese artifacts is among the biggest museums in the world. It stands as one of the most sought-after places for visitors in Taiwan. The Museum has nearly 800,000 ancient artworks on display. There are a series of paintings, calligraphy, statues, lacquerware, jades, and much more. We had spent a day there without feeling a bit of boredom but amazement.
Ximending – the cultural heart and soul of Taiwan’s Wanhua district. Also, the best shopping district for people who want to stack up merchandise. You can purchase cheap or extravagantly with different stores there to satisfy your desire out of your wallets. Don’t merely focus on shopping, for roaming the streets in Ximending on foot will give you an unforgettable memory of this cultural characteristics place. We had some bowls of beef noodles in an old small eatery there, only to find they tasted no less delicious than those served in big or high-end places.
Taipei Zoo, the Muzha Zoo, whichever you like to call it, is a public zoological garden in the Wenshan district. Home to more than 700 species of birds and animals, the zoo guarantees you will never miss anything you want to see. The zoo has 7 different zones, each with a different theme. Again, we spent almost a day there to visit as many creatures as possible with the time we could afford. Amazing enough!
Taiwan doesn’t lack any kinds of food you want to eat. We have taken Japanese food; vegetarian dishes; premium Western food with the best steak; Taiwanese food, Sichuan food, Suzhou and Hangzhou food, and various kinds of Taiwanese snacks in just seven days.
