I have built a website and posted articles on it for three years, I think doing it is hard work, not knowing creating a YouTube Channel is quite a lot harder than it was until I created one recently. I think I must avail myself of this opportunity to thank all the YouTubers who have painstakingly made an effort to make videos for us to watch rendering our world more visual, transparent, civilized, diversified, entertaining, educational, helpful, contented, and more.

Actually, I have never thought of having a YouTube Channel, only one day I suddenly got a whim to do it when an idea came to my mind demanding that I had to deliver my work to more people in a place where they like to linger, and YouTube is the one popping up in my mind telling me it has got that magic to be that place.

Creating a YouTube Channel has brought me a breakthrough in my life, that is I dare to share what I do with everyone not minding what they will think of me. The truth is I must dare to accept the fact that there will be no views, no likes, no comments, or no subscribers causing my time, effort, and self-confidence to go down the drain. Yeah, it is the first brutal criterion every YouTuber must psychologically own in the first place or they cannot survive. And, I am glad that I find I am able to overcome this obstacle too.

With this opportunity to talk about the hard work of being a YouTuber, I think I am obligated to say to you every YouTuber’s work is their hard work. As for me, I first had to learn how to create a video, only learning it had taken me not a little time when there are many different kinds of software making different kinds of videos over the Internet that I had to find out and try and examine to see which one suits my work. Secondly, I had to employ the software I found to learn and try over time to finally make a video coming out that can represent my work. Owing to the originality of my work that I insist, I recorded the voiceover myself regardless of the tremendous hard work, that is I recorded, recorded, and recorded until I succeeded in finishing to record it with one take. Luckily, I eventually felt good and satisfied with my persistence and effort made.

Next time when you watch a video on YouTube, never think they are not good enough or even judge them badly but appreciate their hard work, effort, and persistence. I have learned that only a small number of YouTubers who are professionals or celebrities can make a living with it, the rest are contributors or sharing maniacs, which means they haven’t owed us but have given us their time and effort.
