How Does Technology Change The Way We Communicate

How long have you not talked to people face-to-face in a conversation that requires feeling, emotion, or love? The answer comes out maybe that ‘I have texted a lot more than talking since the advent of social media providing us with text messaging that doesn’t need us to respond instantly, not to mention showing facial expression’.
Talking with people face-to-face requires us to respond instantly by listening clearly and speaking properly without dodging showing facial expressions. It is the precious skills accumulated that help us learn how to master our emotions and employ our abilities when communicating. Furthermore, it is the moment our hearts show love without us having time to ponder or calculate.
Texting people over mobile phones is a lot different than talking with people face-to-face in a situation. Texting allows you time to think; contemplate; erase; correct; or text later. Furthermore, texting doesn’t need us to show facial expressions, and when we want to do so, we only have to click an emoji. When we have long been texting, we will dare not speak to people face-to-face, for doing it requires us to react instantly with expression shown. The fact is we have long been out of this kind of communication mode.
When every one of us indulges in texting wrongly finding it perfect for communication, we will one day lose the ability to talk to people face-to-face with expression shown. If we don’t want to lose this ability that is unique to humans, from today on, talk more to people (especially your loved ones) face-to-face with your heart, fear not feeling bad or embarrassed when sometimes we may talk about something unpleasant.
Face-to-face talking is a very good experience and authentic learning, losing it will only lead to our human relationships being backward or even fake.
