Sentiment - films, dramas

Midnight Swan

Rather than say I am impressed by Nagisa, I would say I am probably more impressed by Ichika despite the fact that she is the second main character in the film ‘Midnight Swan’.
Nagisa, a transgender woman who has all the time identified herself as a woman, adamantly walking on a path of life that is unmentionable and unreturnable with only one aim of being true and honest to herself. Never expect anyone to understand her except those who are also transgender. One scene in the film brutally depicts how Nagisa’s mother loses her mind insanely when she witnesses her son’s behavior acting like a woman and at last carelessly revealing her naked breasts. It sends a chill down my spine when I cannot but behold a mother’s love that is so vulnerable and unreliable. It makes me feel dismayed.
Ichika, a pubertal girl who has suffered a lot more than many who are blessed enough to live a happy life with excessive parental love. Ichika, abused by her mother arbitrarily for no reason but alcohol, is finally sent to be taken care of by Nagisa, her uncle. The journey of these two met and living together and at last, relying on each other can afford us a very valuable lesson. That is, life is full of love, hope and dream despite it requiring some tears and struggles. Love makes these two understand each other despite both of them being hard to understand. Imagine how a transgender woman can understand a teenage girl who is in the stage of teen rebellion and at the same time she is exceedingly unexpressive, and it is also impossible for a teenage girl to understand a transgender who has had so many plights to suffer. Amazingly, these two at last have movingly left us a very touching sentiment that can strike a chord with the marginalized voices and an even broader spectrum of voices.

Hello friends, I am from Hong Kong, living there and having decent education there. I am a mother of two sons and I work as a veteran counselor at a fully fledgling marital introduction company. I like to share with people some tougher experiences in the area of human relationships, marriage in particular. I find human nature is a mixed blessing. While we are bestowed upon enjoying the advantages of it, we can also flee the disadvantages of it. How? I will tell you in my books and blogs.
