Philosophy of life

Misfortune can teach more than fortune

I have once watched a TV program talking about traveling, depicting some countries which are chronically in the face of wars. My sentiment after watching it is, that while I am pretty much fascinated by the program’s quality production, I feel much amazed by seeing how the people in those war-struck areas live with peaceful minds. Wars can only ravage the place they live but can never ravage the life they live, and it is something that has opened up my eyes and made me have a reflection. What war tells them is peacefulness is scarce but does exist, and what turbulence tells them is a minute of tranquility worth them not only just living but live with happiness.
Contrariwise, we are living in peaceful places, but we cannot live with peaceful minds. Maybe we are too lucky to know what misfortune is. I do think it is time for us to reflect before we can do so. Happiness is for the people who not only know what luck is but also know what unlucky is. Life is when we can take the good time, we can take the bad time as well.

I like to share with people some tougher experiences in the area of human relationships, marriage in particular. I find human nature is a mixed blessing. While we are bestowed upon enjoying the advantages of it, we can also flee the disadvantages of it. How? I will tell you in my books and blogs.
